a LBH Historian wants to crack the case

Inspired by a love of history and its amazing accounts of human endeavor, model making and dramatic representations of the people, places and things that have shaped our culture.Custer Battlefield Historian and author Michael Donahue continues to point out Benteen's and Reno's behavior during the battle.

Little Bighorn Battlefield historian Michael Donahue's remarks in the TV documentary "Custer's Last Stand", produced by the BBC in 2007 (watch the entire movie here) were another proof that the LBH battlefield and Custer Historians have understood the betrayal but never spoken loudly about it.

In the movie, Donahue explained that Benteen probably wanted Custer to be alone, and that Reno was ignoring the battle going on a few miles away from his position. The words "betrayal" and "cover-up" were not pronunced (they never are), but the comments were clear as day.

Moreover, Michael Donahue's upcoming artwork on Custer's Last Stand is entitled:

"Where the Hell is Benteen?"

Good question. Now, the next step for Custer Historians is to follow Michael Doanhue's example and speak about the betrayal at Custer's Last Stand.

Donahue has decided that the 132-year academic cover-up by US historians on Custer's Last Stand had to cease.
